Horticultural Description
Begonia 'Old Blue' is a large leaved rhizomatous type begonia. It leaves are grey and silver with a blue tinge. It is a vigorous grower that is easy to grow into a nice specimen. It is a hybrid from Steve's Leaves of begonia U489 and begonia sizemoreae.
“In our Lake Erie greenhouses, this cultivar produces its most vibrant foliage when given consistent morning light and steady warmth. When your order arrives, allow it to settle for 24 hours in indirect light before potting up into fresh, airy potting mix.”
