Horticultural Description
Begonia Unknown rhizomatous is an interesting and handsome plant that was given to me by Massachusetts begonia grower Chris Mason. I don't have a name but it is too nice not to make available. It has large purple/green leaves on a big plant. It is quite a vigorous grower and great if you have room.
“In our Lake Erie greenhouses, this cultivar produces its most vibrant foliage when given consistent morning light and steady warmth. When your order arrives, allow it to settle for 24 hours in indirect light before potting up into fresh, airy potting mix.”
