Horticultural Description
Jessie's Jewel is an epiphyllum, or orchid cactus. It has very large red with magenta flowers on an easy to grow plant. It flowers in the spring in the greenhouses, and intermittently outside in the summer. Best grown dryish and cool in the winter.
“In our Lake Erie greenhouses, this cultivar produces its most vibrant foliage when given consistent morning light and steady warmth. When your order arrives, allow it to settle for 24 hours in indirect light before potting up into fresh, airy potting mix.”
