Horticultural Description
Epiphyllum Kaweah is an epiphyllum, also called orchid cactus. It has big, very pretty orange flowers with rounded petals. It flowers in the spring in the greenhouses, and intermittently outside in the summer. Best grown dryish and cool in the winter. Plants are well established and some are flowering size. NEW ITEM 2015.
“In our Lake Erie greenhouses, this cultivar produces its most vibrant foliage when given consistent morning light and steady warmth. When your order arrives, allow it to settle for 24 hours in indirect light before potting up into fresh, airy potting mix.”
