Horticultural Description
montrose is an epiphyllum, or orchid cactus. It has large pink fruit on an easy to grow plant that also has unique curled foliage. It blooms in the spring in the greenhouses, and intermittently outside in the summer. It is a plant that can be almost ignored in a light cool window for the winter.
“In our Lake Erie greenhouses, this cultivar produces its most vibrant foliage when given consistent morning light and steady warmth. When your order arrives, allow it to settle for 24 hours in indirect light before potting up into fresh, airy potting mix.”
