Horticultural Description
The hibiscus Sonnys Passion is a beautiful multicolored blossom that fades into shades ranging from hot pink in the middle into purple then light pink until reaching the outer rim which is yellow. It is happiest in a window that gets large amounts of sun with a pot that will allow growth. Easily shaped with the proper trimming. Any hibiscus can be as short or tall as one wishes. Hardy to zone 10.
“In our Lake Erie greenhouses, this cultivar produces its most vibrant foliage when given consistent morning light and steady warmth. When your order arrives, allow it to settle for 24 hours in indirect light before potting up into fresh, airy potting mix.”
