Horticultural Description
Asparagus meyeri, also known as Foxtail Fern, of course is not a fern at all but a relative of edible asparagus. It has feathery arching sprays of evergreen foliage with red berrys. Asparagus will take a lot of sun but give you a fern like affect. Zone 10. NEW 2012.
“In our Lake Erie greenhouses, this cultivar produces its most vibrant foliage when given consistent morning light and steady warmth. When your order arrives, allow it to settle for 24 hours in indirect light before potting up into fresh, airy potting mix.”
